The first fully overcast day for probably a couple of months I'm thinking. It's currently raining, just a little bit so far, we certainly could do with a good downpour. Around lunchtime I looked out and saw the Brown Creeper and after topping up the feeders I got set up hoping it would come back. Me going out to the feeders again must be the avian food bell, whereas it had been pretty quiet after their morning breakfast it became very busy with all manner of species coming to sample the lunch menu. I missed the Brown Creeper while making a afternoon cup of tea, I missed a nice White-throated Sparrow, a Song Sparrow and House Sparrow but not a bad selection of species in a couple of hours.
